"Jordy, has played a major role in my choice to breastfeed my daughter, Rowan. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would still be nursing. Jordy, is extremely knowledgeable, and I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything. Rowan, is now 4 months old and nursing is going great! I would definitely recommend Jordy, for prenatal and postpartum."

"During my first pregnancy, with twins, Jordy gave me weekly support via phone. Although she was half a province away her advice and support was better than anyone local was. After the birth of my girls Jordy has continued to support me with advice on breast feeding which was the most important goal I had set. Without Jordy as a resource I am not sure that I would have been able to handle the pregnancy and first couple months with such ease. Everyone should have a Jordy, I just wish mine was local :)"

"It's a Boy! 8lbs 13.5oz, 26 and 1/2 hours later at 11:28 pm November 21, 2007, along came the newest edition that made us a "family", a dream of mine since a young girl. My boyfriend and I could have never done it as gracefully without the support that Jordy (our Doula) gave us through our pregnancy, labour and delivery. Being that this was all new experiences for the both of us, Jordy gave us reassurance by answering questions and giving helpful hints and tips along the way. She was that friendly voice I looked forward to hearing from often while my boyfriend worked out of town. I can relate my hospital stay like being a fish out of water. Jordy helped me to stay focused and comfortable during my labor and also took the pressure off my boyfriend in guiding him how to get me through to delivery. Jordy gave me the greatest gift of all by capturing those moments with pictures that bring me happy tears when I look at them. She was a wonderful addition to my team and I would recommend her to every parents to be. I'm definitely sad she won't be with us for our second child. We thank Jordy from the bottom of our hearts."

"I was three quarters of the way through my second pregnancy when I started to panic. I did not have a great labor experience with my first pregnancy and started to feel I wasn't getting the information and support I wanted from my doctor. I was seriously considering changing my care to a mid-wife but I felt it was too late and I couldn't. I expressed my concerns to my colleague as a Licensed Practical Nurse and good friend Jordy Ruff who offered to be in the delivery room as an added support for me. I was a little nervous at first but now feel it was one of the best choices I made for myself during my pregnancy. Although my husband is a loving and caring person, he lacks in initiative. And I knew that when I was breathing though my pain I didn't want to ask for the things I needed, I just wanted him to know. This is where Jordy came in, she offered me ice chips, rubbed my back, suggested different positions. She was my thinker when I could not think but still let me have complete control of my pregnancy. If you are considering using a doula and feel you do not have all the support you are going to want, I really feel Jordy would be a useful and rewarding person to have in your delivery room. Sincerely."
